The proposed works involve the topping of the vegetated gravel and silt deposits/ berms within the channel will involve the removal of material above river bed level at the time of the proposed works using an excavator. The exposed deposited silt will be removed using an excavator above river bed level. The proposed works will be carried out during July 1st and September 30th inclusive and will be carried out during a period of low water levels.
