Zoning of Lands at Ballymorris, Portarlington

I wish to put forward a plot of land at Ballymorris Portarlington for consideration in the new residential zoning plan for Portarlington. The plot of land is adjacent to the new housing scheme just finished at Canal Gardens, Ballymorris, Portarlington. 

[REDACTED private information ]This is prime land and is very dry and you can travel on it with machinery any day of the year without doing harm. This and the presence of the massive trees on its boundary suggests its underlying ground quality and potential for building. 

I am making my request to Laois County Council to consider it for residential zoning as two local county council members suggested to me to do so as this land may be needed in the future for housing as it is adjacent to all the seivices required for residential homes. 

There are 18 acres attached to its folio number. I have attached a map and have highlighted the field in question. It is in 2 plots marked A and B.
