Notice of Publication of Draft Litter Management Plan 2025-2027
Notice is hereby given under Section 10 of the Litter Pollution Act 1997, as amended, that Laois County Council has published a Draft Litter Management Plan 2025-2027.
A copy of the draft plan is available to view, for a period of six weeks from
the 22nd July 2025 to the 25th August 2025 on the Council’s website www.laois.ieand is available free of charge from the Environment Department, Áras an Chontae, James Fintan Lalor Avenue, Portlaoise, by contacting 057-8664000.
Submissions are invited from members of the public and from voluntary and representative bodies in relation to the proposed plan.
Please forward your submissions in writing to ‘Draft Litter Management Plan’, Administrative Officer, Environment Department, Laois County Council, Áras an Chontae, James Fintan Lalor Avenue, Portlaoise or make a submission online via the Council’s Consultation portal available on the Council’s website. You can email your submission to environmentadmin@laoiscoco.ie – please enter ‘Draft Litter Management Plan’ in the subject heading.
Submissions and observations can be made up to midnight on the 25th August 2025
