Housing Developments

•    Boundary fences around housing estates should be concrete
•    All new estates should have clearly marked bicycle lanes
•    Designated play areas should be located in prominent positions in all new estates
•    Pedestrian walkways should not be permitted between new developments and existing estates

Planning Permission

•    local need should not apply on sites where public water and sewerage services are available
•    The criteria for local need should be less restrictive

Trees

Trees should be protected by tree preservation orders in relation to their historical and environmental significance in the County
