The  Junior Volunteer of the Year  recognises the outstanding contribution that an individual under the age of 18, has made to their local community. Every community has individuals who are boundless in their energy and determination to get things done – so nominate your Junior Volunteer of the Year who encourage, support, lead and inspire others in your community.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. To ensure judging is fair and impartial, Judges will be selected from outside of County Laois. As such they may not be familiar with locations, groups or individuals in the County.
  1. Please ensure the person being nominated is aware of the nomination.
  2. It is very important that as much information as possible is given on this Nomination Form. This will ensure Judges have a good understanding of the work of the Nominee.
  3. Please submit at least one good quality digital photograph to accompany the application form.
  4. Nominations will be shortlisted by an independent Committee. Nominees will be notified in writing.
  5. Laois County Council reserve the right to contact the nominated person, in order to confirm all afore mentioned Consent was forthcoming.
  6. The consent agreement from Nominee and the Consent of the Nominees Parent/Guardian, is an essential document and should be submitted with the nomination form, otherwise, the nomination will be deemed invalid.
