Community Consultation
Ballylinan Village
The Community Survey for Ballylinan is being carried out as part of a project for Laois County Council and the Ballylinan interim Town Team. The research project is part of a Health Check of the town being conducted by South East Technological University, Carlow. It also includes a separate Business Survey which is designed specifically for businesses and is also available on this portal - for the avoidance of confusion, please return to the home page to view.
People living in and around Ballylinan village are being asked to fill the Community Survey in so that our researchers can understand your experiences of living in Ballylinan village. This information will help determine what the village needs in the future. This is why we would like hear what you have to say about your village.
The findings of the surveys will be published in a Health Check report. This is the first step in the formulation of a regeneration plan for the village. The next step will be the development of a plan which will identify key projects which the Town Team can seek funding for which is in line with the Government’s Town Centre First Policy for rural regeneration. To participate in this survey, please click on this Community Survey link or scan on the QR code below.
The survey responses will be directed to Dr Sharon Harris Byrne sharon.harrisbyrne@setu.ie and Úna Grant una.grant@setu.ie who can also address any queries.
The closing date is Wednesday, 26th February, 2025.
